Claire Fuda

Claire L. Fuda, 90, a longtime resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017. Claire was born on July 6th, 1926 in Stamford to the late Harold and Josephine Waterbury Case.
Claire was a retired registered nurse from The Smith House of Stamford, and a co-owner of Central Deli Mart in Darien.
Claire is survived by her three loving sons Douglas A. Fuda of Boston, Richard A. Fuda of Norwalk and Thomas L. Fuda of Shelton. Her three granddaughters Erin Fuda Tischuk, Laura Fuda Scanlon & Rebecca Fuda, and her three great-grandchildren, Harrison, Edie, and Nate Tischuk.
Besides her parents, Claire is predeceased by her beloved husband Frank J. Fuda, and her sister Barbara Skura.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2:00PM to 6:00PM, a funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home on Monday, May 8th, 2017 at 10:40AM and process to St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, CT where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00AM Interment will follow at the Queen of Peace Cemetery, Stamford.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Claire’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place
