Clara Larson

Clara Somody Larson, 100, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2010. She was born on December 28, 1909 in Eleanora, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Vincent Somody and Mary Szakal Somody.
Clara was the oldest surviving member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stamford, where she was an active member of Martha’s Circle. She was also a long time member of the Three Crown Swedish Lodge.
She is survived by her daughter, Louisa L. Heyman, her grandson, Scott L. Connolly, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Clara was predeceased by her husband, Alfred W. Larson and her grandson, Bobby Connolly III.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902, on Wednesday January 13, 2010 from 11:00AM-1:00PM with a service to be held at 12:30PM with Pastor Scott Harris officiating. Interment will be private.
The family requests that memorial donations be made in Clara’s name to Richard Rosenthal Hospice Residence, 100 Shelburne Road, Stamford, CT 06902.
