Clementina L. Poltrack, 91, passed away peacefully at her home in her sleep on Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Born November 13, 1917 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Sofia Komsta.
Clementina was a homemaker and is the last of her generation.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice L. Poltrack of Stamford; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John A. Poltrack; a sister, Frieda Williams; and two brothers, Teddy Komsta and Zane Greeney Komsta.
There will be no calling hours. Service and interment will be private. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care, 1029 East Main Street, Stamford, CT 06902.
