Colette P. Connor, 58, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Stamford Hospital. She was born in Liverpool, England on February 6, 1960 to the late Thomas Connor and Brenda Morgan Connor.
She was a self taught artist whose talent were boundless. She was a painter, illustrator, and a graphic designer. Her sense of humor shined through in her art work which made her a well sought after and unique artist in her own right.
She worked on a project called “Daniel’s Story” at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. In particular, she worked on “Daniel’s Diary” where she gave character and life to the words on the pages of his diary with her skillful artwork that depicted the Holocaust through diary of a child.
Colette is survived by her loving mother, Brenda Morgan Connor of Onley, VA, her sister, Jacqueline Panagiotopoulos and her husband Ted of Matthews, NC. and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins. We will miss her sense of humor and her artistic talent. She was loved by all whose lives she touched and she will be sorely missed.
The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the Connor family with the arrangements. Funeral services and Interment will be held privately.
