Cornelia Pempleton, 74, of Stamford passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 30, 2014. She was born in Knoxville, TN on August 13, 1940 to the late Paul and Hazel Casey Foxx.
She is survived by her loving daughters Sherry Jones and Stephanie Pempleton both of Stamford, a stepdaughter Denise Pempleton of Stamford, two stepsons Julius Pempleton of Columbia, SC and Gregory Pempleton of Meriden, CT. Also surviving are two sisters Shirley Foxx and Mildred Anthony both of TN and a brother Paul Foxx, Jr. of Amityville, NY, including thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Cornelia was predeceased by her husbands Rudolph Jones and Bonnie Pempleton, a brother Leonard Foxx, a sister Wilma Foxx and a stepdaughter Bonnie Armistead.
