Costas Perdikes
June 23, 1933 — January 22, 2021
Costas E. Perdikes, 87, of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, January 22, 2021. He lived from 1933 – 2021. He was born in Pellana Sparta, Greece to the late Elias and Vasiliki Kontogianakas Perdikes.
Costas was employed at Pitney Bowes for many years before retiring. He was a handyman and enjoyed gardening. He was a devoted husband, loving father and community supporter.
He is survived by his loving wife, Voula Perdikis of Stamford and his sons, Elias C. Perdikes and his wife Rosalia Perdikes of Stamford and Pandelis C. Perdikes of Florida. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Costas was also predeceased by his brother, Christos Perdikes and five sisters, Panagiota Perdikes, Zaharo Varoutsos, Athanasia Perdikes, Joan Sigalos and Anna Mihalopoulos.
Costas was driven by the love of his family. We hope his life continues to inspire others to spend time with family, love one another, work hard and makes all their dreams come to fruition.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford on Tuesday morning, January 26, 2021 from 9:00-10:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien.
