David Stolfi, 87, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Born on October 16, 1920, he was the son of the late Vito and Carmella Sabia Stolfi.
David was a former employee of Stolfi Inc. for 40 years before retiring. He was an elder with the Stamford and New Rochelle Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. David was also in Public Relations with the Watch Tower and the Regional Building Committee Safety Department for Jehovahs Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife, Frances T. Manzella Stolfi of Stamford; a daughter, Deborah and her husband John Didising of Mamaroneck, NY; two sisters, Nellie Geriak of Greenwich and Rebecca Lysen of Stamford; a brother, Michael Stolfi of Stamford; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17 at 2:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 611 Fairfield Avenue, Stamford, with Mr. Izak Marais officiating. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private.
