Dina Santore
February 11, 1928 — July 18, 2015
Dina Marie Santore, 87, a lifelong resident of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 18, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Dina was born in Stamford on February 11, 1928 to the late Genneraro and Michelina Bergola Roscillo.
Dina was a former employee of The City of Stamford Board of Education and a former employee of Brock’s Restaurant.
Dina is survived by her daughter Denise and her husband Sgt. Paul J. Vaccaro of Stamford and her son Joseph Charles Santore of Stamford, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Dina is predeceased by her loving husband Joseph Anthony Santore, her sister Angie Caporizzo and her two brothers, Wally and Angelo Roscillo.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 28, 2015 at 12:00PM at St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, CT. Interment was held in private and there are no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to assist the Santore family with the arrangements.
