Donald R. Lloyd

Donald R. Lloyd, 68, died on Friday July 7, 2006 at Stamford Hospital. Born December 2, 1937 in Port Chester, NY, he was the son of the late Howell C. and Evelyn Mosback Lloyd.
He was a retired firefighter with the Hartsdale New York Fire District. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Brooksville Engine & Hose Company in Port Chester, NY for fifty years, and a veteran in the United States Air Force serving during the Berlin Air Crisis.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Gault Lloyd of Stamford; a son, Scott Lloyd of Long Island; a daughter, Melissa LaGuardia of Norwalk; a sister, Jane Ann Crawford of Unadilla, NY; three grandsons, Ryan and Jake LaGuardia of Norwalk, and Brendon Lloyd of Long Island; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, at 9:50 AM on Monday July 10, 2006 and proceed to St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM.
