Doris Reno

Doris J. Reno, 77 of Stamford, died on April 6, 2010 at Stamford Hospital. Born on September 4, 1932 in Yonkers, New York, she was the daughter of the late Mary and Ephraim Joseph.
Doris graduated from St. Mary’s grammar school and the High School of Commerce in Yonkers. She was a secretary for GTE Corp. before she retired in 1998. She was a parishioner of St. Bridget of Ireland Church in Stamford.
Doris is survived by her brother, Peter Joseph of Yonkers, NY; two nieces, Mary Lazin and Catherine Tyukody; and two nephews, John Parsons and Matthew Parsons.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Theodore H. Reno and her sister, Agnes J. Parsons.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on April 10, 2010 at St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York. There will be no calling hours.
