Dorothy Mennona

Dorothy (Doris) Mennona, 80, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2013 at Laurel Ridge Healthcare in Ridgefield.
Born in Stamford, June 5, 1932, the daughter of the late Angelo and Agnes Lanick Molinari. She was a Stamford resident all her life.
Besides be a homemaker all her life, Dorothy also worked at the A&P on East Main Street and was an Avon Representative for many years.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter; Dorothy Marie Parker of Danbury, her grandchildren; Katina Wargo of Norwalk, Kimberly Ann Senecal of Stamford, Kristy Lee Senecal of Florida, James V. and William III Parker of Stamford. Seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, Dorothy is predeceased by her loving husband James V. Mennona, her daughter Karen Ann Senecal, her sister Barbara Venezio and her brother John Molinari.
A funeral procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Saturday May 25, 2013 at 9:00AM and then to St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30AM. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday May 24, 2013 from 4:00-8:00PM.
