Dorothy Wuchiski

Dorothy Veronica Wuchiski, 78, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 9, 2006 at Stamford Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born November 6, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Hattie Borowski Heleski and the late Stanley Heleski.
She moved to Stamford in 1951 from Brooklyn, NY, where she stayed and raised her children, who were the center of her world. She was a homemaker and a loving and caring mother and wife. She was also an animal lover, who endlessly cared for all kinds of animals through out her life.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Eugene A. Wuchiski of Stamford; and two sons, Dennis A. and his wife Cathy DAdemo Wuchiski of Stamford; and Jeffrey G. Wuchiski and his companion Patricia Monti of Monroe.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, at 9:20 AM on Friday, October 13, 2006 and proceed to Church of the Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldtown Road, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, October 12, 2006 from 4:00 8:00 PM.
