Edward Davis

Edward Frank Davis Sr., 65, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Born on August 5, 1943 in Norwalk, he was the son of the late Clifton and Sue LaRusso Holland.
Edward served in the Vietnam War as a member of the US Air Force. He was a Sheet Metal Mechanic for H.E. Palmer and Turner & Harrison where he retired in 2000.
Edward is survived by his wife, Doreen Davis of Stamford; a son, Edward F. Davis, Jr. & his wife Mary Ellen of Stamford; four daughters, Darice Joerman & her husband Scott of Stamford, Kelly Chiefallo & her husband Anthony of Norwalk, Brooke Davis & her fiancée William Eleck of Norwalk, and Keri Davis & her fiancée Luciano Lombardi of Stamford; two brothers, Arthur Davis of Norwalk and Robert Davis of Stamford; two sisters, Debbie Wargo of Stamford and Denise Lepselter of Tennessee; and six grandchildren, Cameron, Brandon, Kapri, Anthony, Kori and Jennifer.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister Darlene Holland.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Sunday, April 26 from 4-8 PM.
A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home on Monday, April 27 at 9:20 AM and proceed to St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
