Edward J. Emmelkamp

Edward J. Emmelkamp, 78, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026. Edward was born in the Netherlands on April 5, 1948, to the late Louis and Lambertha Vlaanderen Emmelkamp.

Edward is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Helena Rojas Emmelkamp; his brother, Roberthus; his sister, Louise; his sons, Marcel Emmelkamp, Lennart Hanford and Brian Emmelkamp; his grandsons, Bruno and Sebastian Emmelkamp.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by Paulus, Hubertus, and Petrus Emmelkamp. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT, on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Edward's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, stjude.org .
