Edward A. Varley, 72, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Stamford Hospital. He was born in New York on January 18, 1946 to the late Edward M. and Mary Mele Varley.
Edward was employed as a Program Manager at IBM until his retirement in 2009. His position brought him all over the world, but his New York roots kept his heart (specifically the Jets and Yankees). He is survived by his loving daughters, Jennifer V. Guinta and her husband Dave, Meghan V. Gardner and her husband Jimmy and Lindsay R. Velez and her husband Julian, all of Stamford. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Charlie, Cate, Jayden, Alyson, Eleanor, Ryanne and Penelope.
Besides his parents and sister, Edward was predeceased by his wife Denise Crep Varley in 2012.
