Eileen V. Raymond, 83, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Greenwich Woods in Greenwich. Born May 10, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Russell Vernon and Anna Pawson Raymond.
Eileen attended Brooklyn, NY schools. She was a secretary for Pittston Company for thirty six years until her retirement in 1991. She was also a Stamford resident for thirty years and was a member of St. John the Evangelist RC Church.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday, August 12 from 4:00 �" 7:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 8:20 AM on Thursday, August 13 and proceed to St. John the Evangelist RC Church, Atlantic Street, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery 1629 Bushwick Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.
