Eileen Scipioni

Eileen Scipioni, 95, of Fairfield, formerly of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 12, 2014. Eileen was born in Greenwich, CT on April 21, 1919 to the late Battista and Rosa Grigoletti Fasoli.
Eileen was a lifelong member of the Elks Lodge Women’s Emblem Club. Her main love in life was being surrounded by her family and close friends, especially her beloved late husband of 43 years, Anthony Scipioni.
Eileen is survived by her daughter Dolores “Dee” LoConte of Fairfield and her daughter Joyce Gentilozzi and Glen Ely of Fairfield, her granddaughter Elisa Grissom and her husband Greg of Pennsylvania, her grandsons; Frank Bacher and his wife Lourdes of New York, Richard Gentilozzi and his wife Haylie of Greenwich and Michael Gentilozzi and Ashley Iwaszkiewicz of Black Rock. Her beloved great-granchildren Jason, Emily, Ryan and Connor also survive together with many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and her husband, Eileen is predeceased by her four brothers Emilio, Attilio, John and Daniel and her sister Amelia.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Sunday November 16, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leo’s RC Church, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford, CT on Monday November 17, 2014 at 10:00AM. Inurnment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien, CT.
