Eleanore K. Axmann

Eleanore K. Axmann, 91, formerly of Stamford, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2007. Eleanore was born in Albany, NY, but spent most of her life in Stamford, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Brunner Kneiper.
Eleanore was a housewife and enjoyed sewing, interior design work and cooking. She also enjoyed volunteering as a Brownies Leader. She had a profound love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved animals.
She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Brzostek and her husband Chet of Norwalk; and Linda A. Fauci and her husband Jim previously of Shelton and now of Florida; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alfred W. Axmann; and a grandson, Scott.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Friday, September 7, 2007 from 4:00 8:00 PM. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
