Elizabeth �"Betty Coxen, 85 of Stamford passed away on Nov. 7, 2006 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport.
Born in Stamford July 11, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret Monroe McAuliffe, Mrs. Coxen was a homemaker and loved photography and loved bowling.
Survivors include a brother James P. McAuliffe and his wife Ann both of Stamford, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great grand nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Coxen was predeceased by her husband Verne T. Coxen and two brothers Patrick and Thomas McAuliffe.
A Funeral Procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory 104 Myrtle Ave. Stamford at on Saturday November 11, 2006 at 9:45 AM and proceed to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church 1200 Shippan Ave. Stamford for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. John RC Cemetery Darien, CT.
