Elizabeth McMillan Killeen, 90, formerly of Stamford, died on Saturday April 29, 2006 at St. Vincent Hospital in Bridgeport. She was born in Kilbirnie, Scotland on July 18, 1915 to the late James and Mary McCann McMillan.
Elizabeth worked as a hairdresser for Anthonys of Cos Cob for twenty years. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and was also an avid bowler with C.D.A. She loved her grandchildren who were the center of her life.
She is survived by her daughter Mary and her husband Larry Nichols of Trumbull; and three grandsons, Christopher T, Brendan J, and Jeffrey L. Nichols.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Thomas M. Killeen; three brothers, Thomas, James and Daniel McMillan; and four sisters, Caroline Hughes, Ann McMillan, Mary Gordon, and Agnes Hughes.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, at 9:20 AM on Tuesday May 2, 2006 and proceed to Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church, 1200 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Johns Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday May 1, 2006 from 4:00 8:00 PM.
