Elizabeth Sandra Sondak, 49, of Stamford, passed away peacefully at Stamford Hospital on Monday July 20, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Elizabeth was born in Indonesia on April 11, 1966 to Franciscus and Maria Kasenda Sondak.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of twenty one years, Chris Tanu, her daughters Emilia and Felicia Tanu, all of Stamford, her mother Maria Kasenda of Indonesia, her sisters Vanda Sondak, Yolanda Sondak and Imelda Sondak, all of Indonesia and her brother Raymond Sondak of Holland.
Elizabeth is predeceased by her father Franciscus Sondak.
A funeral procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Friday July 24, 2015 at 9:15AM and proceed to St. Leo’s RC Church, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace RC Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday July 23, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Knights of Malta, NY Chapter, 1011 1st Avenue #1350, New York, NY 10022.
