Ella Turzer

Ella “Cathy” Catherine Turzer, 67, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on, Wednesday, August 01, 2012. A lifelong resident of Stamford, Born on February 1, 1945 to the late Paul and Ella Hason-Burch Turzer.
Cathy was a loving mother figure to her nieces and nephews, and amazing sister, a phenomenal cook, and a guardian angel to her family. She will be greatly missed.
Ms. Turzer is survived by her brother Paul Turzer and his wife Madi of Norwalk, CT., a sister Dorothy Turzer of Barre, VT., brother Kevin Turzer and his wife Cherie of CA., and brother Ken Turzer of Stamford. Also surviving are “The Kids” her cherished nieces and nephews including Jamie , Shana, Kenneth, Ashley, Dallas, Michael, and Dylan Turzer all of Stamford, CT., several nieces and nephews also survive her. Her great nieces and nephews who were like grandchildren to her include Hendrik, Gabriella, Natalia, and Isabella and Lucas.
Friends and family may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT 06902, (Tomorrow) Friday, August 3, 2012 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. A Funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 9:25AM an arrive at the St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, CT 06906, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM . The funeral will then proceed to the St. Johns Cemetery, Darien, CT., for interment.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Ella’s “Cathy’s” name to the Carl and Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center, 30 Shelburne Road, Stamford, CT 06902
