Emery Molnar

Emery Molnar, 96 of Stamford, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2010 in Stamford. Born on November 21, 1913 in Elenora, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Somody Molnar.
Emery was a retired employee in the Maintenance Department for Dorr Oliver and Conde Nast for many years.
Emery is survived by his daughter, Susan Beckman of Brockton, MA; his aunt, Clara Larson of Stamford; four grandchildren, Scott Beckman, Kimberly Giannouloudis, Melanie Brunetti, and Avery Molnar; and four great grandchildren, Thomas and William Giannouloudis and Zachary and Wyatt Beckman; and several nieces, nephews and cousins
In addition to his parents, Emery was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Rose Kelemen Molnar; his son, Thomas Molnar; two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, Connecticut, 06902 on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 from 1:00-3:00PM with a service to be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mary M. Thies officiating. Interment will be private.
