Eric Flink

Eric W. Flink, 68, a resident of Riverside for 46 years, passed away Monday, June 15, 2009 at his home. Born January 13, 1941 in Stamford, he was the son of the late Gustave O. and Florence McAfee Flink Burns.
Eric was a retired driver for York Laboratories. He was a graduate of Wright Tech and served in the U.S. Marines during peacetime. Eric was a member of Southwestern CT Pistol League and Farifield County Fish and Game Protective Association.
He is survived by his wife of forty five years, Elizabeth (Betsy) Flink; a son, Gustave Flink of Norwalk; two daughters, Elizabeth Richardson of Stamford; and Ellen Flink of Stamford; a cousin, Christine Varner of Norwalk; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Florence (Rita) Solinas.
There will be no calling hours or services. Interment will be private.
