Esterina Vincenza Iannotta, 96, died on Tuesday March 14, 2006 at Courtland Gardens Health Care Center in Stamford. She was born on January 10, 1910 in San Vincenzo, La Costa, Italy to the late Pasquale and Maria Asta Giordano.
She was a homemaker, and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Ida Aurello of Stamford; her son, Benny Iannotta and his wife Gail of Stamford; a daughter in law, Ilde Iannotta of Stamford; a sister Lucia Fallico of Italy; a brother Luigi Giordano of Milford, CT; seven grandchildren, Gino Iannotta, Ester Iannotta, John Aurello, Natalie Gutkin, Emily Iannotta, Gina Rae Cafaro, and Joseph Iannotta; and six great grandchildren, Noelle Iannotta, Jacqueline andand Stephanie Gutkin, Breanne and Kyle Aurello, and Michael Cafaro.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Generoso Iannotta; daughter, Sara Iannotta; Son, Rodolfo Iannotta; six brothers, Eliseo, Elio, Francesco, Raffael, and Vincenso Giordano; and a sister Emira Magliocco.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Saturday March 18 at 9:20 AM and proceed to St. Mary RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.
