Eugene �"Bo Bohannan, 81, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2007 at Richard Rosenthal Hospice Residence. Born June 24, 1926 in Stamford he was the son of the late Joseph and Nellie Ryan Bohannan.
Bo was the owner of the Colony Grill in Stamford for the last forty five years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Augustine Council #41 and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He was also a Veteran of the US Navy having served in WWII.
He is survived by two sons, James W. Screwse and his wife Pamela Parsons of Norwalk; and Gary James and his wife Denise of Litchfield; a sister, Mary Sandshaw of Fairfield; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Carol Gallo Bohannan; and four brothers, Joe, Tip, Robert, and Alfred Bohannan.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 from 4:00 8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Thursday, June 28, 2007 and proceed to St. Matthew RC Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Johns Cemetery Mausoleum in Darien.
