Fletcher Bobo, Jr., 88, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 of natural causes. Fletcher Bobo, Jr, was born on December 17, 1935 to Fletcher Bobo, Sr. and Sophia Elizabeth Hoffman in Tryon, NC.
In 1976, Fletcher met Mary Ruth Gorham and the two went on to marry on November 20th of that year. Also joining in this union were Fletcher’s daughter Lore, and Mary’s daughter’s, Brenda and Marion.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Thomas M. Hoffman, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth, his daughter, Lore Roundtree, his step-daughters, Brenda J. Rivera and Marion Gorham, his nephews, Thomas M. Hoffman, Jr., Peter M. Hoffman and niece, Regina E. Phipps, as well as (5) grandchildren, (16) great grandchildren, (2) great- great grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses, 611 Fairfield Avenue, Stamford, CT on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
