Frances Fabrizio

Frances Rose Fabrizio, 87, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Monday, October 7, 2013. She was born in Stamford on August 28, 1926 to the late Vincent and Rose Amato Zannino.
Frances was raised in the Cove section of Stamford and attended K.T. Murphy and Rogers Schools. She was a graduate of Stamford High School, Class of 1944.
She is survived by her loving children, Philip Fabrizio of Fremont, NE, Roberta Ryan of Norwalk, Marc Fabrizio, Lisa Ingram, Elena Vitolo and Francesca Smith all of Stamford; her loving grandchildren Eric, Laura, Christina, Charles, Diana, Steven and Julia and her great grandchildren Kyle, Tyler and Santiano. Also surviving is her sister Mary Long of Norwalk, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, Frances was predeceased by her beloved husband Harry Arthur Fabrizio in 1996 and her brother Anthony Zannino.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 9:20 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at The Basilica of St. John’s the Evangelist RC Church,279 Atlantic Street, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien.
