Frances Prescutto
January 16, 1926 — March 28, 2007
Frances Prescutto, 81, a life long Stamford resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Stamford Hospital. Born January 16, 1926 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Julia Semborski Grzegorski.
Frances was a retired employee of Machlett Lab (Raytheon) Company. She was a member of the Polish Womens Alliance.
Frances is survived by three daughters, Linda A. Maguire and her husband William of Bethel, CT; Antonia Kijek and her husband Robert, Sr. of Stamford; and Rosemarie and her husband Louis M. Cerreta of Monroe; a brother, Stanley Grzegorski of FL; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony J. (AJ) Prescutto.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Sunday, April 1, 2007 from 4:00 8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:20 AM on Monday, April 2, 2007 and proceed to St. John the Evangelist RC Church, 279 Atlantic Street, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
