Frances T. Stolfi, 90, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2009 at Richard Rosenthal Hospice Residence in Stamford. Born January 17, 1919 in Westerly, RI, she was the daughter of the late Rosalino and Ida Macioni Manzella.
Frances was a hair stylist with several hair salons for forty years. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of New Rochelle, NY and Stamford. She also volunteered in the ministry with her husband for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Didising and her husband John of Stamford; a brother, Michael Manzella of Stamford; a sister, Marcella Bartollo of Stonington, CT; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, David Stolfi; a sister, Ann Salvatore, and a brother, Victor Manzella.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3 at 11:00 AM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 611 Fairfield Avenue, Stamford with Mr. Arthur Van Eck officiating. There will be no calling hours and interment will be private.
