Franco Gublet, 90, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025. Franco was born in Minturno, Italy on January 28, 1935, to the late Eduardo and Giovanna Conte Gublet.
Franco is survived by his three sons; Edward and his wife Mary Ann of Stamford, Frank and his wife Darlene of Milford and Tony and his wife Susie of Los Angeles, CA as well as three cherished grandchildren; Kathryn, Jonathan and Luke.
Besides his parents, Franco is predeceased by his loving wife Concetta Malagisi Gublet.
A funeral procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Wednesday, July 16 at 10:00 AM and proceed to Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 15 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Franco’s memory to Saint Jude’ Children’s Research Hospital.
