Frank Ardise
July 21, 1916 — July 16, 2012
Frank G. Ardise, 95, of Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 16, 2012 at Regency Heights of Stamford surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 21, 1916 in Paterson, NJ to the late Luigi and Michelina Francese Ardise.
Frank was employed with Machlet Lab of Stamford as a Group Leader for forty years before his retirement. He was also a veteran of WW II and served as Sergeant in the U.S. Army 341st Station Complement Squadron.
He is survived by his loving wife Sylvia A. Preziosi Ardise of Stamford, his son Thomas P. Ardise of Monroe, CT, two grandchildren Jessica, of Monroe, CT and Rachel of New York, NY, and his favorite daughter-in-law Rosemarie (his girl).
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by four brothers Ralph, Tubby, Tommy and Lewis, and two sisters Lucy Ardis and Eleanor Ventimiglia.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Frank’s memory on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11 am at St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford. Interment will be private. Per his request, there will be no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 is honored to assist the Ardise family with the arrangements.
