Frank T. Cornacchio passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Greenwich Hospital. Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Lucian and Elizabeth Trionfo Cornacchio.
Frank was the owner and operator for Off Center Barber Shop in Old Greenwich for forty-five years. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII. He was also a member of the Old Greenwich Lions Club for over forty years, and a member of the St. Bridget Holy Name Society.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie E. Girardi Cornacchio of Stamford; a brother, Frederick Cornacchio of Cheshire, CT; two nieces and two nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, John Cornacchio.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday, October 22 from 9:30 10:30 AM. A funeral procession will then leave the funeral home and proceed to St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry hill Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, North Street, Greenwich.
