Frank Fuda
July 27, 1921 — January 7, 2015
Frank J. Fuda, 93, of Stamford passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday January 7, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born in Stamford on July 27, 1921 to the late Dominick and Mary Arcano Fuda.
Frank served in the US Navy during World War II and was a former member of the Piedmont Club as well as a former co-owner of Central Deli in Darien.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Claire Case Fuda of Stamford, his three sons; Douglas A. Fuda of Boston, MA, Richard A. Fuda of Norwalk, and Thomas L. Fuda of Shelton, one sister Catherine Dolan of Stamford. His three granddaughters; Erin Fuda Tischuk, Laura Fuda Scanlon and Rebecca Fuda and two great grandchildren; Harrison Tischuk and Edie Tischuk also survive.
Besides his parents, Frank is predeceased by one sister and five brothers.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Friday January 9, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday January 10, 2015 at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien.
