Frank L. Infante of Stamford, a former resident of Darien, CT. passed away peacefully in his sleep Jan. 30 2010 at St. Camillus in Stamford. He was the only son of Quintino Infante & Eleanora Cetrangelo Infante.

Frank served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and attended the University of Bridgeport after the war.
He later opened the ”Stamford Tire Company” which he ran until his retirement at age 82. His generosity and sense of humor made him a successful and popular business man.
He is survived by his 3 children, Michelle “Missy” Infante of Milford, Steven L. Infante of Danbury, Judee Beardsly of Wilton. Also, a grandson Jeremy Erik Infante, whom blessed our father with 2 beautiful great grandchildren, Elle and Jeremy.

Frank was fortunate enough to have 5 loving, caring sisters. Lena Derkach of New Rochelle, Josephine Cooke and Julia Infante both of Stamford, Rita Suthard of Burlington Mass. and Theresa Gill of Riverside. Frank also leaves behind 3 nieces, 5 nephews, and 11 great nieces and nephews. He always had a song in his heart and if there was a piano in the room we all knew a good time was coming. When not working, you could catch our father playing tennis, most likely at the courts at Weed Beach. Frank Infante was not only a great friend, uncle and brother, but most of all, a great father. He will be missed.
