Frank T. Jaworoski , age 66 , passed away February 10, 2010 in Stamford. Frank was born in Stamford to the late Leo and Frances (Klosenski) Jaworoski. A devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather, Frank is survived by his wife, Nga Jaworoski of Stamford, his daughter, Susan Hopper and her husband David of Greenwich, his son Paul Jaworoski and his wife Nikki of Stamford, and his daughter, Brittany Jaworoski of Stamford. He is also survived by granddaughters, Shelby Hopper, Allison Hopper, grandsons, Ryan Hopper, Dylan Jaworoski; nieces, Taylor and Sydney Walgren. He also leaves behind a brother, Robert Jaworoski of California, and his twin sister, Frances Payne of Stamford, sisters-in-law Loan Pham and husband Nham Le; Tuyet Nguyen and her husband Tri of Stamford; Thuy Walgren and her husband Dan of Stamford; brother-in-law Viet Pham and his wife Hai; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two brothers, Leon (Sonny) and Donald Jaworoski, sisters-in-law Mai Pham of Vietnam; and Huong Pham of Stamford, CT.
His life was surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was especially proud of and loved spending time with his grandchildren and nieces. Frank was a Vietnam War Veteran, he served for the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967. He received many awards for his military services from the State of Connecticut. He was an active member of VFW, Post 9617, of Springdale, CT where he was Senior Commander. He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus in Stamford, where he recently received his Third Degree Knight honor. He was also an active member of the German Club of Stamford.
He was employed by Lincoln Mercury of Stamford, Jeep Chrysler of Greenwich and Jeep Dodge of Stamford until his retirement. He lived in Stamford all his life.
A funeral procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave.,Stamford, CT 06902, on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 10:10 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Leo Parish Church, 24 Roxbury Rd., Stamford at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
