Frank Maikish

Frank Maikish, 71, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2007 in Naples, FL. Born on January 24, 1935 in New York, New York, he was the son of the late Frank Sr. and Josephine Schaeffer Maikish.
Frank retired from Clairol as an accountant after twenty five years. He was a Veteran of the US Marines having served in the Korean War. Frank was also a member of the Knights of Columbus on Shippan Avenue in Stamford.
He is survived by his wife, Jane A. Esposito Maikish of Stamford; a sister, Eleanor Stackhouse and her husband Thomas of Marlboro, NJ; four brothers-in-law, Louis, Cosmo, Enlio (Lee) and his wife Kay, and Alfred Esposito; and ten nieces, nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Thursday, January 25, 2007 from 4:00 8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:40 AM on Friday, January 26, 2007 and proceed to St. Marys RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.
