Frederick Christopher Migliaccio, known as Freddy 48 of Stamford, CT formerly of Norwalk, CT passed away on June 5, 2025 at Yale New Haven Hospital after a brief yet courageous battle of non- Hodgkins aggressive B-cell Lymphoma. Freddy was born on January 26, 1977 to the late Silverio & Adele (Mazzella) Migliaccio.
Freddy, or “Freddy 2 Slice” as he was affectionately known grew up in Stamford and attended Sacred Heart School, Our Lady Star of the Sea, Westhill High School and later graduated from Trinity Catholic High School. He was an Electrician by trade but mechanically inclined at anything he put his hands on. Freddy’s passion was fishing and traveling to his parents’ native island of Ponza Italy.
Freddy was a kind free spirted soul, always willing to help without seeking anything in return. He had a good sense of humor and would light up a room with his jokes. Freddy is survived by his brother Silverio “Sonny” wife Maria of Greenwich, sister, Maria of Stamford, nephew Paul of Greenwich, many cousins “cugines”, aunts, and uncles that reside in the US and Italy.
Freddy is predeceased by both of his parents, Adele (Mazzella) in 1987, and Silverio in 2005, both sets of grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins in the US and Italy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Ave, Stamford, CT. In respecting Freddy’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A private burial will be held with just family members.
