Gary L. Washington, 63, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2016 at St. Camillus Health Center of Stamford. He was born in Baltimore City, MD on July 5, 1953 to the late George and Willie Mae Speight Washington.
Prior to his retirement Gary was a mail handler with the US Postal Service for many years.
He is survived by his loving daughter Yvodney Washington of Stamford, three sisters Edith Williams of VA, Doris Baker and Tiwanda Steen of NC, a very special cousin Elaine S. DuPree of CT, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, Gary was predeceased by his youngest sister Willie Ruth Washington.
