George D. Lowman

George D. Lowman, 64, died on Saturday February 4, 2006 at West Haven Veterans Hospital. Born March 30, 1941 in Stamford, he was the son of the late Horace D. and Rosalie Darling Lowman.
George was a clerk at the Bridgeport Variety Store for ten years. He was a former member of the US Marine Corps and was a member of the Salvation Army.
He is survived by his wife Martha L. Lowman of West Haven, CT; three daughters Hope Ritson of Frisco, TX; Tanya D. Lowman of West Haven, CT; Kristina L. Farren of Branford, CT; three grandchildren, Jordan and Drew Ritson, and Daniel Farren; five brothers, Robert, James, Clifford, Richard, and Kevin Lowman; three sisters, Deborah Luigiano, Penny DArinzo, and Karyn Lowman; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his five brothers Douglas, Edward, John, David, and Daniel Lowman.
There will be a memorial service at the Bridgeport Salvation Army, 30 Elm Street, Bridgeport, CT, on Saturday February 18, 2006 at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial donation be made to the Salvation Army or the West Haven Veterans Hospital.
