Gerald L. Cassella, 77, former resident of Stamford, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at his home in Maine. Born November 27, 1929 in Stamford, he was the son of the late Joseph and Angelina Caoli Cassella.
He was a retired musician with Boutelle Method for twenty five years.
He is survived by a son, Gerald D. Cassella of Sanford, ME; a daughter, Rosann Flowers of Milford, NJ; a sister, Ann Cantore of Stamford; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Vincent Cassella; and his wife, Isabel Dabrowski Cassella.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Friday, February 2, 2007 from 9:00 10:00 AM. A funeral procession will then proceed to St. Leo RC Church, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM.
