Geraldine Pignuola

Geraldine Carol Pignuola, a dear mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away at her home on Thursday, December 30th surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 26, 1948, and was one of five children born to the late Angelo and Atilia (DiSario) Pignuola. Geraldine was 73 years old at the time of her passing.
Her passion was family and babies, dancing and singing. Her love for drawing and painting passed her time. She loved to cook. However, her ultimate love were her son and his two children and all their time together.
She is survived by her beloved son James Polidoro and his companion Maria Marini; his children Christopher and Jenna Polidoro; sister Agnes Remolde; and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. In addition to her parents, Geraldine was predeceased by her siblings Daniel, Richard, and Elaine Pignuolo.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT 06902 on Thursday, January 6th from 5 PM – 7 PM.
