Gerard Howard

Gerard Howard, 86, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Friday July 10, 2015 at Stamford Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Gerard was born in Liverpool, England on November 13, 1928 to the late James and Mary McLaughlin Howard. Gerard was a former member of the Bruce Park Lawn Bowling Club.
Gerard is survived by his loving wife Mary Power Howard of Stamford, his two daughters; Ann Marie Eisdorfer and her husband Scott of Trumbull and Debbie Parrish and her husband Scott of Stamford, his three sons; Paul Howard of Newtown, Gerard P. Howard of Newport, RI and Philip Howard and his wife Lisa of Laguna Niguel, CA. His brother Laurence Howard and his wife Eileen, of the UK, as well as his ten grandchildren, Nicole, James, Douglas, Meredith, Christopher, Jonathan, Eric, Emily, Ann Marie and Jason and his great granddaughter Mary.
Besides his parents, Gerard is predeceased by his brothers Frank and Harold Howard and his sisters Elizabeth Blanchard and Margaret Mitchell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Spirit RC Church, 403 Scofieldtown Road, Stamford on Friday July 17, 2015 at 12:00PM. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford. There will be no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to assist the Howard family with the arrangements.
