Germaine Y. Murray, 92, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2007 at Stamford Hospital. She was born January 21, 1915 in Berlin, New Hampshire.
She was a member of St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church and several senior clubs.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Richard C. Murray, Sr. of Stamford; three sons, David A. Murray and his wife Lynn of Norwalk; Richard C. Murray, Jr. and his wife Lucille of Stamford; and Peter W. Murray and his wife Melissa of Ridgefield; eight grandchildren, Susan, Keith, Dana, Kristine, Scott, Todd, Robert, and Jennifer; and three great-grandchildren, Sage, Griffin and Sydney.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her seven sisters and three brothers.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Sunday, April 15, 2007 from 4:00 7:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:20 AM on Monday, April 16. 2007 and proceed to St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gill Babeu officiating. Entombment will follow at St. John Mausoleum in Darien.
