Gilman C. Parsons, 84, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully
on Monday, September 10, 2012. He was born in Stamford on July 17, 1928
to the late Mark and Diadem Joyce Parsons . Gil was a dedicated businessman who worked
hard for The Foxboro Company, Barnes Engineering , Perkin Elmer and Schick. In his retirement
he enjoyed gardening and walks at the Cove Island. He was loved and will be missed. He leaves to honor and cherish his memory his loving wife of over 61 years Elsie “Bunnie” (Hornyak) Parsons. Three daughters, Cheryl Krampert and her husband Richard, Nancy Web and Lisa Parsons-Smith, four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Besides his parents Gil is predeceased by his four sisters and a brother.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM where a service of prayer will be held at 6:00PM with Reverend David Van Dyke officiating. Inurnment will be private.
