Giuseppina Audisio

Giuseppina Audisio, 86, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Stamford Hospital with her family by her side. Born March 23, 1922 in Tronzano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Battista and Teresa Berna Dellora.
Giuseppina was an employee for St. Joseph Hospital for seventeen years until her retirement in 1984.
She is survived by a daughter, Felicita Aglieri-Rinella of Stamford; two sisters, Francesca Massazza and Battistina Gerardi of Italy; a grandson, Frank and his wife Amy Pine Aglieri-Rinella of Richmond, CA; and three great-grandchildren, George and Nicholas of Wilton, CT and Frances of Richmond, CA. Several nieces and nephews in Italy also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Emilio Audisio; a granddaughter, Frances Panagiotopoulos; and a brother, Giancarlo Dellora.
There will be no calling hours. Interment will be held in Italy. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at www.cognetta.com
