Gladys L. Kaswer, 94, died on Sunday March 19, 2006 at Stamford Hospital. She was born on July 4, 1911 in Stamford the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Apanowicz and Lewandowski.
She was a parishioner at St. Marys Church. She was also a homemaker who cherished her family. Her family was the most important part of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Gladys Viesto and her husband Frank of Stamford; a son Joseph Kaswer and his wife Blanche of Naples, FL; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph P. Kaswer; a brother, Stanley Lewandowski; and a sister, Antonette Rogenski.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday March 22, 2006 at 9:20 AM, and proceed to St. Marys RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.
