Gloria Caputo

Gloria Caputo, 85, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Stamford Hospital. She was born in Stamford on April 6, 1933 to the late Angelo and Josephine Belmont Caputo.
Gloria attended Stamford High School and had worked in retail before retiring. She loved the holidays and always being with her family.
She is survived by two sisters, Marie Taylor of Trumbull and her beloved sister, Rose Caputo of Stamford, as well as her brother, Antonio (Tony) Caputo and his wife Irene of Clearwater, FL. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Besides her parents, Gloria was predeceased by her two sisters, Lorraine Romano and Carole Del Vecchio.
Those who knew and loved her will sadly miss Gloria.
Funeral services and Interment will be held privately. The family requests that donations be made in Gloria’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
