Gregg Mennillo
October 31, 1961 — June 4, 2009
Gregg A. Mennillo, 47, of Stamford, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, June 4, 2009 with his loving family by his side. Born in New Rochelle, NY, on October 31, 1961, he was the son of Anthony Mennillo and Elsie Willinger.
He was a loving father and husband. Gregg was an avid golfer at Sterling Farms Golf Course in Stamford and was a fan of the New York Mets and New York Giants. He was a Postal Carrier of the Pelham, NY Postal Service for 22 years.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by, his wife, Patricia M. Mennillo of Stamford; two daughters, Theresa & Samantha Mennillo both of Stamford; his father’s wife, Mary Kay Mennillo of Pelham, NY; his mother’s husband, Larry Willinger of Stamford; a brother, Glenn Mennillo of New Rochelle, NY; two brothers-in-law, Robert Chenet of Hawaii and Thomas Chenet of Hawthorne, NY; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert & Genevieve Chenet of Hawthorne, NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gregg was predeceased by his brother, Christopher Mennillo.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Sunday, June 7 from 3:00 �" 6:00 PM.
A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home on Monday, June 8 at 9:30 AM and proceed to St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
