Gustavo Arenas, 81, died on February 17, 2006 at Stamford Hospital. He was born in Columbia on May 13, 1924, to Antonio and Julia Londono Arenas.
He was a retired kitchen helper at Robustelli Travel for 16 years.
He is survived by his wife Cecilia V. Arenas of Stamford; thier nine children, Hector Arenas, Lia Russo, Ruth Montoya, Gustavo L. Arenas, Alonso Arenas, Jorge Arenas, Margarita Martinez, Francisco Arenas, and Adriana Granillo; twenty nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory on Thrusday February 23, 2006 at 10:40 AM and proceed to Our Lady of Montserrat, St. Benedict Circle, Stamford, where a Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebreated at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien.
